Day trip to Thessaloniki

An enchanting one-day trip to the Nifi of Thermaikos, with the White Tower and its endless beach, for unforgettable moments!

Places to visit:

White Tower, the most famous attraction of Thessaloniki. You will have the opportunity to admire the symbol of the city and, if you wish, visit the interior, as it hosts an exhibition on the history of Thessaloniki.

Roman Arch of Galerius. Built by the Emperor Galerius, also known as the Kamara. Kamara is a popular meeting point for locals and tourists alike and makes for great photos.

The church of Rotunda. It is a circular church built in 306 AD for the Emperor Galerius. It was later converted into a Christian church dedicated to Saint George. During the Ottoman Empire it was converted into an Islamic mosque. Today it is open to the public and hosts fine events.

Saint Demetrios is the patron saint of the city and the locals respect and honour him. The church is one of the most important monuments and the largest church in Thessaloniki! Below the church there are catacombs, accessible to visitors, which is the place of imprisonment and martyrdom of Agios Demetrios.

The Upper Town and the castles, relics of previous periods. The Eptapyrgio (also known as Yedi Koule) is also open to the public, giving visitors an idea of what it was like a few years ago when it was used as a prison.

At the end of the tour, we kept the walls (Tower of Trigonio). There you can enjoy the panoramic view of the city and take excellent photographs, especially at sunset.
