Stelios Kazantzidis: the magnificent concert at Kallimarmaro

Greece sang Stelios Kazantzidis at Kallimarmaro with the participation of great artists in the magnificent concert of Oloi Mazi Mporoume, an impressive high-standard production by Panik Live Productions, attended by almost 30,000 spectators. 

Themis Adamantidis, Konstantinos Argyros, Melina Aslanidou, Giannis Dionysiou, Stelios Dionysiou, Peggy Zina, Melina Kana, Klavdia, Christos Mastoras, Dimitris Bassis, Giota Nega, Pizza Papadopoulou, Antonis Remos, Sicario, Konstantinos and Matthew Tsachouridis, Nefeli Fasouli and Thodoris Ferris performed some of the legendary and timeless songs of Stelios Kazantzidis, with which he wrote his own history and left his indelible mark on Greek music.

“Iparho”, “Agriolouloudo”, “Opoia Kai Na Eisai”, “Den Tha Ksanagapiso”, “Tis Gerakinas Gios”, “Kato Ap’ To Poukamino Moy”, “Ziguala”, “Ego Eim’ Aetos”, “To Tholomeno Mou Mualo”, “Ekso Ntertia Kai Kaimoi”, “Tsambasin”, “Afti I Nichta Menei”, “To Psomi Tis Ksenitias”, “To Diko Sou Amartima” and “Gialinos Kosmos” are some of the songs that made the Kallimarmaro pulsate and the spectators, of all ages and from all parts of Greece, become one voice.

In addition to the artists’ excellent solo performances, unique duets were presented on stage with Antonis Remos – Christos Mastoras, Konstantinos Argyros – Melina Aslanidou, Peggy Zina – Stelios Dionysiou and Nefeli Fasouli – Giannis Dionysiou, while the evening “closed” with the artists singing together “Dyo Portes Ehei I Zoi” and “Vracho Vracho Ton Kaimo Mou”.

The music and songs were accompanied by a high-quality visual spectacle, with unique lighting and modern effects using AI.

The artistic direction was by Giorgos Kyvellos and the direction was by Giorgos Lyras. Conductor was Yiannis Papazachariakis and soloist was Manolis Karantinis (bouzouki). The narrator was Thodoris Atheridis.

The proceeds from the concert, which was recorded and will soon be released on an album by Panik, will be used to purchase seedlings and for actions aimed at protecting the environment.
